Abstract
Movement is the main factor in the dynamism of urban life and the continuation of all economic, social and
cultural activities in cities. Also, transportation and related infrastructure have a direct and indirect impact
on the physical development of cities. Transportation is truly constructive and fragile for cities, just as the
expansion of cities in a reciprocal way affects networks and transportation systems. Urban transport is one
of the main sub-sectors of urban development and planning. Citizens are in daily contact with pedestrian
and equestrian networks and various types of transportation, and use urban transportation to meet a range
of needs for work, education, shopping, leisure, etc. Therefore, transportation has become one of the most
important parts of the quality of life of citizens. Unfortunately, in recent years, due to the development
based on car movement, many transportation problems have arisen, and until sustainable urban
development plans are prepared and implemented based on car movement, it will not be possible to achieve
sustainable transportation. To overcome such problems, it is necessary to evaluate the sustainability of
urban transport in the first step and then suggest solutions to improve the existing conditions. The purpose
of this study is to investigate and prioritize the factors affecting the quality of the transportation system by
assessing the status of intelligent urban transportation with a crisis management approach in the city of
Urmia
