Abstract
Statement of the problem: The problem of citizens' health has been neglected for many years in developing countries, and the complexity of the problems of cities in recent years, especially worn-out structures, the strategic role of regeneration, and urban health, has increased more than before. Therefore, there is a need to adopt a comprehensive and integrated approach to confront and respond to the problems and issues of cities, especially problematic contexts.
Purpose: to examine the theoretical approaches of urban health and urban regeneration and develop the conceptual framework of health-led regeneration.
Research method: The research method is a mixed quantitative and qualitative type based on content analysis and Delphi. The research is fundamental and in the theoretical part, 91 articles have been examined and analyzed based on the meta-analyze method.
Findings and results: Health-led regeneration can be defined in four functional-physical, socio-economic, environmental, and physical-psychological categories. Fair access to services, suitable housing conditions, access to public transportation, legibility, liveliness, and a suitable objective view are the most important in the physical-functional field. In the socio-economic field, which can be considered as one of the most important fields of health-led regeneration, there are many influential factors, the most important of which are identity and vitality, appropriate distribution of income, employment, social interactions and it is the general participation of citizens. In the environmental field, factors such as access to green spaces, pollution, and waste management have been taken into consideration. Finally, in the physical-psychological field, factors such as appropriate physical activity, reduction of diseases such as obesity, diabetes, etc., reduction of depression, anxiety an increase of comfort and convenience, happiness, and entertainment have been identified. Health-led regeneration is an integrated and progressive approach to urban regeneration that seeks to involve society while paying attention to all the
 
psychological and physical dimensions of health and improving the physical, environmental, social, and economic qualities.
