Considering that one of the most important principles of non-active defense and one of the important pillars of land preparation is the principle of optimal location for various activities and centers. In this article, the relationship between land acquisition, passive defense and location was explained. Non-active defense complements active defense, it is the most peaceful and effective defense method that seeks to reduce the vulnerability of national infrastructures and vital, sensitive and important centers and national stability. Human society in the current conditions of the world, in relation to the space it uses, cannot continue to live a good life without the necessary studies based on foresight and land preparation combined with planning, especially for the future generations. The necessity of research and investigation on the category of development and improvement are inseparable as two sides of the same coin. On the other hand, the complexity and close connection of affairs, especially national security and defense issues with political affairs and the effectiveness of the global economy, has a direct effect on these indicators. Passive defense is a set of non-armed measures to reduce the vulnerability of human resources, vital arteries, sensitive facilities and important structures against explosive loads and possible enemy threats and natural disasters. With regard to this definition, the main goal of this research is to investigate and analyze the structural and architectural components that are influential in housing planning and design patterns, as well as strategic considerations in locating uses in settlements to deal with the effects of enemy military invasion and natural disasters in residential areas. Bardsir city. The results of the research indicate that it is possible to create beautiful and pleasant spaces without harming the functions of the spaces and also without spending High costs due to the severity and extent of damage caused by enemy attacks and even natural disasters during a crisis.
