The outbreak of corona disease has had a great impact on the economy of Lorestan province, including the tourism industry of Khorram Abad city. According to statistics, the total damage caused to tourism in this city since March 2018 has been estimated at 1,218,517,000,000 Rials. In a situation where the government is facing an increase in healthcare costs due to Corona, the financial resources for the support policies of the tourism industry are limited. The sustainable development of tourism must be implemented with a specific policy in order to ensure a promising movement in the comprehensive development of geographical spaces. It is also very important to adopt a set of policies and optimal practical solutions to manage and improve the resilience of this industry and be included in the agenda of various institutions. This article seeks to identify the key factors in the sustainable tourism industry of Khorram Abad, emphasizing the effects of the spread of Covid-19. For this purpose, 36 variables affecting the evaluation of the sustainability of tourism in Khorram Abad city were identified from valid domestic and foreign sources and studies, which became the input of the impact matrix. Then, for the said matrix, with the Delphi method, 25 managers, experts, specialists and experts who are involved in the tourism issues of Khorramabad city were asked to fill out a questionnaire for scoring the effects of the indicators on each other according to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic. do Based on the summary of cases, the research variables were divided into 4 dimensions and 36 variables. The filled questionnaires have been entered into the MikMak software. The findings of the research show that the variables of cultural, welfare and recreational facilities, the amount of private sector investment, crime and economic diversity are influential and the variables of security, residential centers, livelihood and livability and satisfaction are influential. The results show the necessity of continuing tourism activities and businesses as one of the levers of economic development of Khorramabad city, as well as paying attention to economic policies in Khorramabad city to increase the resilience of tourism activities, which is one of the most important solutions for sustainable tourism. In the following, solutions to improve the resilience of sustainable tourism in Khorramabad during the Covid-19 pandemic have also been presented.
